As a lifelong teacher and learner, Ms. Brown has co-mentored Education for Ministry (EFM), served as a newsletter copy editor, and published many articles, essays, and stories. Ms. Brown continues to serve in as many capacities as God allows.

Ms. Brown is a life member of UBE and has served on the National Board of Directors. The Diocese of Maryland presented Ms. Brown with a Certificate of Recognition in 2012. Ms. Brown is featured in the documentary “The Trail of Souls: A Journey Toward Truth and Transformation.” In 2022, she received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray Chapter, UBE, and the National UBE Heroes Award from National UBE.

Currently, Ms. Brown lives in Florida and attends the historic Episcopal Church of Saint John the Baptist in Orlando, where she serves as a lector and as a delegate to the Diocese of Central Florida’s annual diocesan convention. She is president of the Canon Nelson Pinder UBE Chapter of Central Florida Inc. and co-chair of the National UBE’s Mental Health Task Force.
